Instructors

Suzanne Webster is a Master of Education (M.Ed) and has been in the teaching profession for 12 years. Suzanne focuses her attention on the development of students’ literacy, especially at the high school stage. She believes good teachers teach beyond the content of the subject; they empower students by teaching them how to learn. By enabling students with lifelong learning skills and strategies, every one of them can succeed in school. Suzanne encourages her students to know who they are as learners; only then they will understand which learning styles and strategies work for them and which ones don’t. That will lead them to succeed in their tasks and enjoy school. Suzanne has also helped teachers who wished to improve as professionals. She was the curriculum leader for Language Arts and ESL in her school in Calgary, and has trained teachers in Brazil and Mexico.

Carolyn Flores is an Ontario certified TESL/LINC teacher and CASA Montessori teacher. She has been a private tutor for the past 20 years working with students ranging from K-12 with one on one tutoring and coaching She has over 10 years of international business experience in various fields including retail, tourism and education. She has successfully been part of curriculum development for various language programs including trade skills for foreign trained professionals, half day education programs for children in JK/SK and for ESL students in the Tourism and Hospitality program in Toronto.
