GradeHelpers is an in-home tutoring company that offers specialized programming for children with learning differences. Our services are available throughout the day, evenings and weekends. Our specialties include work with students with ADD and communicative disorders including dyslexia and written expression difficulties.

Our experienced and highly qualified tutors will provide in-home tutoring and early learning programming for students 3.5 through to 12 years of age. All programs are individualized and offer the flexibility of in-home services. Our qualified tutors participate in an ongoing training program facilitated by a certified teacher trainer and learning differences specialist. Your child will be provided with an individualized program that meets their unique needs and learning style. Program modifications and specific adaptations are offered to your child in a supportive and motivating style. Parent resource support services are also available. Charlene is a seasoned teacher with over 14 years teaching experience with children from two and a half through to twelve years of age. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Waterloo and specialized in Psychology with a focus on child development and learning differences. She continued her education at the Toronto Montessori Institute where she obtained her Primary and Elementary Montessori diplomas. In 2004, Charlene received her MACAR (Montessori Applied to Children at Risk) certificate from the Shelton School in Dallas, Texas. She completed her Teacher Trainer Diploma in June 2007 and is currently recognized as a qualified Montessori Teacher Trainer. Charlene facilitates seminars and workshops for educators at regional and national conferences on the topics of communication, adaptations for learning different children and team building.
